“Perfect Chateau Experience” - Sarah P. Midland, Texas
If you are looking to experience "chateau living," then this is the place for you! Beautiful home and property with charming rooms furnished in traditional antique french decor. It feels as if you've stepped back in time to an era of elegance and class.
A delicious breakfast was served in the most picturesque dinning room. The chateau owner was very kind, welcoming and helpful. Although was difficult do to a language barrier, she made a great effort to communicate with us using google translate. The location is a little ways outside of Orleans. Clear directions to here are critical as we got lost trying to find it. We only stayed one night and wish we would have had more time to explore the grounds. If you are wanting a traditional french countryside experience then you need to stay here.

“Ideal romanitc getaway” – yym-sf, San Francisco
We stayed at this chateau when we spent a weekend visiting the Loire valley. It was a pleasant treat to visit chateaus in the day and spend the night in one. The owner, is a very friendly and warm older lady who welcomed us with cold drinks after a long day.
Although we didn’t speak much French and she didn’t much English, we managed to communicate and also somehow learnt from her that there was a time change the night we were there.
The grounds is beautiful and well maintained. There is a pool for warmer days, a garden with fruit trees and, even miniature ponies and chickens in the stables. The chateau has many rooms furnished with 18th century French furniture. Although we opted to stay in the stables converted room, the owner nevertheless showed me every single room when I asked her to show me around.
For breakfast, we sat in the elegant dining room with sunshine pouring in and had croissants served with jams made from the fruits in the garden.
The best part for me was walking the grounds in the cold spring morning, accompanied by the owner’s dog, Coco.
